The offshore fishing charters in St. Augustine Florida have been really good so far this month, I had a offshore gulf stream trolling trip last week and caught a bunch of nice tuna fish a half a dozen mahi and some big king fish. We also lost a few big bites that pulled off. The rest of this month will be great fishing for Mahi tuna fish wahoo and sail fish, and also the first two weeks of May will be good too. The high speed wahoo fishing is what’s hot if your looking to target and catch big wahoo. I like to run 4-5 rods with leads and big high speed lures. 10-16knts is what I hear the sweet spot is but I’ve known of a boat that caught one at 19knots.
