Off Shore Charter Fishing - St. Augustine Florida
Drop Down Charters provides the best off shore fishing experience in St. Augustine, FL. There are several fishing spots where we like to drop line. When we take our guests out, we like sticking with the fishing spots that have proven themselves over and over as winners. The fish we strive to catch are:
Large Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Grouper, Yellow Tail Snapper, African Pompano, Wahoo, Mutton Snapper, Barracuda, Amberjack, Cobia, King Mackerel, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, Trigger fish, Sea Bass, Marlin, Kingfish, Swordfish, Black Sea Bass, and Bluefish and many many more!
The best time for dolphin (mahi mahi) fishing is during the summer months for deep sea fishing in Saint Augustine. We love to take advantage of this time because dolphins are definitely one of the best fishes to reel in for the catch. We also enjoy hitting the reef areas around town for giant groupers and yellow tail snappers! Whether you are a beginner fisher or a veteran you will surely have a blast with Captain Alex on the Drop Down Charter.
Off shore fishing / deep sea fishing slots fills up our calendar, and we absolutely love it because off shore fishing is Captain Alex's favorite. If it's your first time you are in for a treat. Captain Alex knows all the "hot spots" for each different type of fish, so your requests will be honored!
Before departing off shore, we ask you to please make sure you have the following items: camera, sun protection, lunch and beverage, sunglasses/hat. We will supply everything else you need. If you have any questions/concerns feel free to call us at 904-501-8572.
