Good evening from Drop Down Sport Fish Charters located in the beautiful town and oldest city st. Augustine Florida. The offshore and deep sea fishing charters have been staying consistent this month with nice flat seas. On the deepsea Fishing Charters Mangrove snapper are still hanging around, along with the usual suspects-vermillion snapper, triggers fish, Cobia and amberjack. The 4-6 hr offshore fishing charters the Kingfish fish are still chewing along with short Cobia and sharks. As for inshore fishing charters, st. Augustine Florida is also a good place to get a nice tarpon bite this time of year. September is my favorite month to fish for tarpon in st. Augustine. Get a big mullet, circle hook with some fluorocarbon leader and fish the bridges and inlet at the end of the tide change. Look for small mullets getting crushed or look for tarpon rolling. If you want to get a nice fishing charter on Drop Down Sport Fish Charters then give us a call and let’s go fishing!
