Good afternoon from Drop Down Sport Fish Charters in Saint Augustine Florida. It is Wednesday, September 1, The weather is raining and storming with temperatures in the 80s today, so might as well do a offshore fishing report since I have been offshore fishing every day and slacking on the fish reports. Offshore fishing charters have been really productive this last month whether you have been around 9 mile or all the way out to the Gulfstream. The last few deep-sea fishing charters we have caught a handful of mangrove snapper, a limit of Vermillion snapper, some amberjack, barracuda , some random miscellaneous fish and a ton of red snapper. I have been fishing deeper water on the deepsea fishing charters with a double rig and some cut sardines on bottom, seems to always gets a bite. The offshore fishing charters on the near shore wrecks have been decent too. Kingfish and Cobia in 65 ft have been caught with the occasional sailfish. Trolling ballyhoo or catching live bait is the ticket to getting a few bites. If you are in st Augustine or coming in the near months, and looking to have a good time to make some memories, give us a call and book a offshore fishing charter on Drop Down Sport Fish Charters here in st. Augustine Florida. Let’s go fishing!
